ABOUT

Riccardo Toldo began his journey with early studies in woodworking, later deepening his expertise through academic training in industrial design. His practice spans product, interior, and graphic design, driven by a technical approach translated into a human language, with a particular focus on the poetics of the object.

His work has been featured in venues such as the XXIII Triennale di Milano, ADI exhibitions, Salone del Mobile, ICFF New York, and more. In 2025 he received both the SaloneSatellite Award and the ICFF New York Award for Best Young Designer, and was selected for the Red Dot Young Designer.

In his artisan workshop in the Dolomites, he produces small-series prototypes that explore emerging technologies through a humanistic lens. Technology is merely a means — the true goal is to awaken wonder, to summon the quiet magic that light inherently holds. Light becomes not just a tool for seeing, but a medium for feeling and expression — a wordless language woven into space. Each prototype is conceived, designed, and hand-assembled in the Dolomites, Italy.
